Hotels were 85-90 percent full for the Pessah and Easter holidays, the Tourism Ministry said Tuesday.
The ministry also opened offices across the country to ensure that tourists' visits would be trouble free. Fifteen hundred people visited the Jerusalem office in one day, the ministry reported.
Groups visiting from Egypt, Nigeria and Europe availed themselves of the Nazareth office.
Tourism Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch toured the country to check the service being offered by the ministry over the holiday.
