Construction and Housing Ministry director-general Shmuel Abuav is weighing the possibility of replacing Disengagement Authority head Yonathan Bassi, who is expected to leave his post in the near future.
Bassi's contract ended in December. He extended it until March at the request of former prime minister Ariel Sharon. In March, Bassi agreed to wait until a new government was formed before leaving. No formal decision has been made on a replacement for Bassi.
