The Air Force bombarded two open areas in northern Gaza that were identified as sites from which Kassam rockets were launched at Israel earlier in the day. Just before noon on Friday, three Kassams landed in the Ashkelon industrial zone and in the kibbutzim to the south of the coastal city. MDA teams arrived at the scene shortly after the assault and treated a person suffering from shock. Early in the morning, there were two other rockets fired at the northern Negev, although no damage or injuries were incurred from the barrage.
