The IAF attacked a Popular Resistance Committee training base in Rafah late Thursday, killing the group's leader, Jamal Abu Samhadna, and four other Palestinians.
IDF officials said that terrorists on the base were preparing for a major terror attack inside Israel.
Ten additional Palestinians were wounded in the IAF strike, Israel Radio reported.
