IDF troops and elite Border Police forces ended their military operation in the West Bank town of Kalkilya on Wednesday night without making any arrests. Soldiers had surrounded a compound in which several fugitives were holed up and Palestinians reported that more that 30 people were wounded in the ensuing clashes. Most of the Palestinians were lightly hurt after being hit by rubber bullets or stun grenades, but an 18-year-old was reported seriously wounded after a rubber bullet struck him in the head.
