The explosive devices discovered by troops at the Beit Iba checkpoint in Nablus earlier Sunday concealed by a Palestinian youth were to be used in a terror attack in Tel Aviv, the IDF said.
The boy was ordered to transfer the explosives to terror operatives beyond the checkpoint so that they could piece together a suicide bomb belt with the three explosives devices as well as several more already in their possession.
Border Police sappers detonated the explosive devices in a controlled manner and the youth was transferred for security interrogations.
