The deputy commander of the Samaria Brigade complained Thursday of violence against him and his soldiers Wednesday night while they were removing an illegal outpost in the W. Bank near Elon Moreh. The lieutenant-colonel said that youths at the outpost tore off his ranks and punched him. The tires of 15 military vehicles were punctured by the rioting youths. While being evacuated in a bus, they tore up the seats and set them on fire.
