An IDF elite unit, in cooperation with the Shin Bet, arrested on Tuesday evening a Tanzim operative in Bethlehem who was involved in shooting attacks against Israelis.
The fugitive, Naif Aviat, was involved in, among other incidents, the shooting near Tekoa in February 2000 in which two Israelis were killed and a third seriously wounded.
