IDF, civilian forces conduct northern exercise

IDF forces in the northern command conducted Tuesday a training exercise aimed at improving the army's ability to combat terrorism on the northern borders, sources said early Wednesday morning. The exercise examined the IDF's ability to operate on land, air, sea and to test artillery levels and management of different terror situations. The exercise was manned by special military forces as well as civilian forces who are assigned to provide backup for the army in the hour of emergency.
