A small force of IDF troops entered the southern Gaza Strip early Friday morning in an attempt to combat what the army termed as "terror threats." Nobody was wounded during the operation, and no damage was caused. Later Friday, Palestinians fired mortars towards Israel, hitting an area near the security barrier on the border with Gaza, but causing neither damage nor injury. Meanwhile, IDF troops operating in Nablus overnight Thursday came under small arms fire from Palestinian gunmen. Elsewhere in the West Bank, a Palestinian threw a Molotov cocktail at IDF forces operating in the area. Nobody was hurt in either attack.
