One man was wounded in the Negev on Friday in the course of a pursuit which the IDF conducted against him.
The IDF began a chase after two cars suspected of involvement in smuggling.
During the pursuit, one of the drivers intentionally collided with the army vehicle chasing him. The soldiers then opened fire upon him, wounding the man.
He was then arrested and taken to the hospital to receive medical treatment, Army Radio reported.
