A special IDF force arrested a Tanzim operative Friday evening in the el-Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem.
During the operation, Palestinians fired on the troops, who returned fire, Israel Radio reported.
Shortly after the arrest, a bomb was thrown at an IDF patrol in Bethlehem. No one was wounded.
