IDF lifts roadblock at the Yehuda junction between Hebron, Tarkumia

The IDF on Thursday lifted a roadblock at the Yehuda junction in the West Bank to enable Palestinian trucks to travel freely between Hebron and Tarkumia. In recent years, since the eruption of the second intifada, the junction had been closed to Palestinian traffic, forcing trucks to take a roundabout way and extending their travel time significantly. The IDF said that the junction would now be open daily between 5-7 a.m. and 9 a.m-1 p.m.. Since the IDF began easing restrictions in the West Bank close to a hundred roadblocks have been lifted.
