The IDF and the Jerusalem Police were still searching on Thursday morning for the Palestinian man who stabbed and seriously wounded a security guard at the Kalandiya checkpoint on Wednesday evening.
The attacker fled the scene immediately after the stabbing. The guard was evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem and underwent surgery overnight.
