IDF troops on Sunday afternoon thwarted a potential stabbing at the Gush Etzion hitchhiking post.
A Palestinian man who arrived at the post aroused the suspicion of soldiers, who called him to stop and discovered that he was in possession of a knife and had planned to stab hitchhikers.
The man has been detained for interrogation.
