IDF troops shot and wounded two Palestinians who approached the security fence in the northern Gaza Strip on Sunday. The two were spotted moving suspiciously near the fence and after they ignored warnings to stop, soldiers opened fire at their lower bodies. Meanwhile, the defense establishment said Sunday that it had received some 50 terror warnings, most of them general, Israel Radio reported. The warnings focused primarily on Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Netanya and Afula. Also, was released for publication over the weekend that security forces thwarted two major terror attacks inside Israel in recent months. One of the attacks was foiled half-a-year-ago, when a Palestinian was arrested near Hebron on his way to pick up a suicide explosives belt in Jerusalem. Overnight Saturday, IDF troops arrested three Palestinian fugitives near Hebron. The three were detained by security forces for interrogation.
