The Israel Prisons Service set up an inquiry committee Monday to examine the circumstances behind the death of an AIDS-infected prisoner in the northern Shatah Prison.
According to his attorney, the prisoner, who was serving a sentence for killing someone during a robbery, was infected with aids in prison after being subjected to abuse by prisoners and wardens.
