India: Israeli armed backpacker's remand extended

Israeli backpacker Na'eh Haviv, who was arrested in India after being caught in possession of a pistol and a bullet cartridge, was remanded for a further four days in custody on Friday. Haviv will be kept under house arrest in Mumbai. Israeli Consul Daniel Zonstein said that he had made contact with Haviv and was trying to assist her.
