The MDA Ayalon emergency center received a call Wednesday afternoon from a 20-year-old construction worker who had fallen five meters off a building.
The man was unable to give details of his whereabouts to emergency services.
The MDA national emergency center located the man in cooperation with the cellular provider by pinpointing the man's mobile phone in the cellular network.
An MDA ambulance arrived at the scene and evacuated the man, who was moderately injured, to a local hospital.
