Israel gave permission on Tuesday to over 300 Druse from the Golan Heights to study at universities in Damascus, Syria, Army Radio reported. The Israeli students are expected to pass through the Kunetra Crossing in the Golan Wednesday morning. The decision comes as tensions between Israel and Syria reached new heights, following what the Syrians claim to be an IAF air strike on their soil two weeks ago.
