Noa Haviv, the Israeli tourist in India who was arrested six days ago after local officials discovered an ammunition clip in her backpack, was released on Tuesday after nearly a week in jail. The clip which gave Haviv an unsought-for glimpse of India's judicial system, belonged to her brother, who had apparently forgotten that it was inside the backpack. "It's not an experience I recommend," Haviv told Channel 2. However, she said, she is still in India and intends to proceed as planned with her trip.
