Italian Foreign Minister Massimo D' Alema is set to meet with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in Jerusalem, Israel Radio reported on Thursday.
D' Alema arrived in Jordan on Thursday afternoon where he opened talks with King Abdullah on the situation in Lebanon and maintaining the cease fire in the region. The two were also set to discuss the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
The Italian foreign minister will then travel for Ramallah, where he is due to meet with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, before departing for Jerusalem where, as well as Olmert, he will also meet his counterpart Tzipi Livni on Friday morning.
