OC Central Command Maj-Gen. Yair Naveh signed an order declaring Hebron a closed military zone Monday evening.
The order will go into effect this evening.
Sources in the Central Command said that the decision was in order to prevent settlers' supporters from reaching the city to participate in clashes and would allow security forces deployed in the city to restore law and order.
