J'lem gas stations suspected of cheating customers

Four owners of the petrol company "Energy 2000" from Jerusalem were arrested Tuesday for allegedly diluting their gasoline and diesel with other substances, such as acetone and various oils, in order to increase their income.
In addition, based on an initial investigation, two of the suspects tampered with the gas pumps at the gas stations so that customers received less gasoline than what they paid for.
According to initial estimates, the owners of Energy 2000 evaded taxes worth up to NIS 100 million, Army Radio reported.
