A 21-year-old man was under arrest Monday for allegedly raping his brother and sexually molesting his sisters repeatedly over the last five years, police said. The suspect, who lives in a Jerusalem suburb, was apprehended after police received an anonymous tip-off. The man told police interrogators that he abused his siblings because he was the victim of sexual abuse by rabbis in yeshivas where he had studied, Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby said. The suspect, who allegedly assaulted his siblings in their home, also confessed to sexually molesting other children in the neighborhood. He was brought to a Jerusalem court Monday for a remand hearing.
