Justice Minister Haim Ramon told State Attorney Eran Shendar on Tuesday that he was considering privatizing many of the services of the State Attorney's Office.
According to a Channel 2 report, the idea was raised in a meeting between Ramon and Shendar as a possible solution to the backlog in case files caused by an overwhelming workload.
District attorneys from around the country attended the meeting.
