Kadima starts negative campaign against Peretz

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's Kadima party began a negative campaign on Sunday with banners on buses and junctions accusing Peretz of being "all talk" and no content. The slogan was taken from the name of a talk show hosted by Labor hopeful Shelley Yehimovic. "It's true that candidates usually don't attack challengers trailing them in the polls, but we needed to add some spice to the race," Sharon strategist Lior Chorev said. Meanwhile in the Likud, leadership candidate Uzi Landau denied a report that he would soon quit the race.
