A Kassam rocket was fired from Beit Hanun in the Gaza Strip on Saturday.
The Salah a-Din Brigade of the Popular Resistance Committee claimed responsibility for the attack.
The projectile was not located, but it was believed that it fell within Palestinian territories, Army Radio reported.
No one was reported wounded.
Over the last week Israel was bombarded daily by Kassams fired into the western Negev and southern coastal region, including Sderot, the Ashkelon industrial zone, and army bases.
