It's frightening how easily made-up stories can destroy a person and his family, former president Moshe Katsav said in his first interview since agreeing to a plea bargain last week that left out the charge of rape. "We didn't force the plea bargain on anyone," Katsav said. The former president said that the deal dropped about 90 percent of the charges against him "that were proven false." The full interview will run during Channel 2's 8 p.m. news broadcast.
