Producers of singer Kelly Clarkson, of 'American Idol' fame, announced early Thursday that they had been forced to cancel the singer's performances in Israel due to a severe throat infection.
She was supposed to perform in Tel Aviv on Saturday night and Sunday.
Reportedly, the singer had been feeling ill for several days and previously cancelled a gig in Paris.
She recovered somewhat and went on to perform in Berlin but then her condition deteriorated and doctors advised her to call off her Israel concert dates.
