Large Pakistani delegation may visit Israel soon

In another sign of the developing relations between Israel and Pakistan, a large Pakistani delegation of approximately 200 political leaders, military commanders, businessmen and journalists, is expected to visit Israel following Eid al-Fitr, the end of Ramadan. Army Radio reported Saturday morning that no confirmation of the visit had been offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Following the October earthquake that devastated much of Pakistani Kashmir, Israel had offered humanitarian aid to the south Asian country, but they refused to permit Israeli aid workers to enter.
