Lebanese troops fire on IDF; troops return fire

According to initial reports Lebanese soldiers opened fire on IDF troops searching for bombs inside Israeli territory near the Lebanese border Wednesday night. The troops returned fire with two tank rounds, apparently wounding several Lebanese soldiers after hitting their position. Since the afternoon, the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) had been threatening to open fire on IDF troops operating near the border.
