Legal Forum appeals Ramon's lighter conviction

The Legal Forum turned to the attorney general and the state attorney on Thursday with an appeal against the ruling that justice minister Haim Ramon's conviction of committing an indecent act would not carry with it moral turpitude. Israel Radio quoted the forum as saying that there was an essential contradiction between the message conveyed by the conviction and the decision that there was no moral turpitude in his actions. "There no indecent act not involving moral turpitude," said the forum.
