New Kadima leader Tzipi Livni is expected to offer Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz the Foreign Ministry if he decides to return to the political fold, Army Radio reported Wednesday.
However, Mofaz associates said that he would only be interested in a socioeconomic-related ministry, like the Treasury, currently held by Livni supporter Ronnie Bar-On.
Mofaz continued to keep his supporters in the dark on his political future on Tuesday, as he formally informed Cabinet Secretary Ovad Yehezkel he was taking a vacation until October 2.
