Magen David Adom announced on Tuesday that there was a severe blood shortage of type Rh-negative as a result of a drop in donations due to the upcoming holiday season.
The MDA has consequently begun a special blood drive that will continue until Thursday. The drive will be held at blood donation centers in Haifa, Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv, and at the MDA's blood services center.
