Hadash MK Muhammad Barakei was being questioned at the Russian Compound police headquarters in Jerusalem on Tuesday for allegedly assaulting a civilian and a police officer during two demonstrations against the Second Lebanon War in 2006.
Several Right-wing activists awaited Barakei at the entrance to the police station yelling slogans such as "You are a terrorist. In any other state you would have been hanged."
