MK Gideon Sa'ar (Likud), who is also the head of the Knesset committee on women's rights, on Monday severely criticized Secondary School Teacher's Organization (SSTO) head Ran Erez for a remark Erez made Sunday night during negotiations with government representatives on the ongoing teachers' strike.
Erez's statement that "some enjoy being raped" was reprehensible, Sa'ar said.
Erez was responding to Financer Minister Budget Director Kobi Haber, who had said that his ministry was being forced (in Hebrew also: raped) into accepting the dictates of Histadrut Chairman Ofer Eini.
