Labor MK Yoram Marciano was at the center of a barroom brawl in Herzliya on Wednesday night, Army Radio reported Thursday morning. Marciano claimed that he was attacked by a bouncer at the city's Rio pub, however, police and eyewitnesses said that Marciano attacked the bouncer first. According to the eyewitnesses, Marciano had apparently tried to get out of the pub through the back door, which was not an exit, and was asked to use the front door. Marciano, who was allegedly drunk, then began to curse and push the bouncer who was blocking his path, before the bouncer punched the MK. Marciano vehemently denied that he had hit the bouncer. Police were examining footage from the pub's security cameras to ascertain what actually happened.
