Kadima MK Michael Nudelman told Prime Minister Ehud Olmert that the prime minister had his support, the Prime Minister's Office announced Tuesday evening.
According to the PM spokesperson, Nudelman told Olmert that he supported [Olmert's] decision not to resign following the release of the Winograd Committee's report on the failures of the Second Lebanon War, and opposed any attempt to topple him.
This statement contradicted Nudelman's earlier calls for Olmert to quit.
