A 30-year-old man from the Center of the country was sentenced to half a year of community service on Thursday as part of a plea bargain after being convicted of molesting a 17-year-old girl he knew. Shahar Hillel confessed that he got the girl drunk, took her to a hotel room and took advantage of her inebriated state to perform indecent acts on her. The judges explained that Hillel had received the light sentence because he had been in drug rehab. In the original charge sheet, Hillel was also charged with two counts of rape.
