A 41-year-old man was under arrest Wednesday for allegedly robbing an elderly woman in her Jerusalem home earlier this year after dressing up as a haredi man and asking for change, police said. The Jewish suspect has confessed to tying up the 71-year-old woman, threatening to kill her, and then stealing NIS 5,000 from her home in the city's Sanhedria neighborhood together with an accomplice during the January robbery, Jerusalem police spokeswoman Sigal Toledo said. The suspect was brought to a Jerusalem court Wednesday for a remand hearing.
