The body of a 30-year-old man was found hanging from a tree in a field near an Ashdod street on Monday afternoon.
Signs of violence were found on the man's body and his hands were tied behind his back.
The body was discovered by a municipal maintenance worker who was passing through the field.
Suspecting foul play, police launched an investigation.
