Man found dead in Jerusalem apartment apparently murdered

A 65-year-old man found dead late Sunday in a Jerusalem apartment was apparently murdered, police and rescue officials said. The man's body was discovered by his wife in his flat in the southern Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo surrounded by pools of blood. The victim, who had multiple head injuries, was pronounced dead on the scene by Magen David Adom. Police were investigating whether the man was attacked by a burglar.
