A 40-year-old man was moderately injured when he was hit by a stray bullet at Nitzanim Beach on Tuesday afternoon. The man was evacuated to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon. An initial investigation into the incident found that the man had ignored warning signs erected by the military cautioning visitors of dangers surrounding the area, located near an IDF shooting range. Several weeks ago a similar incident occurred involving an 11-year-old boy who went fishing with his father.
