Man killed and another critically injured in a robbery in Eilat

A man was killed and another critically wounded during an armed robbery at an Eilat jewelry shop. According to eyewitnesses, two robbers participated in the heist. One of them, wearing a false beard, picked a fight with the owner of the shop, and opened fire on him. The owner was wounded, and a jewelry agent who was at the shop was killed. Jewelry from the shop and a bag belonging to the dead agent was stolen. The robbers were seen escaping the scene on a motorcycle, riding on the sidewalk. Police said the wounded man was hospitalized in critical condition at Eilat's Yoseftal hospital, and that all the exits from the town were blocked.
