Man stabs wife, himself in Ashdod. Both in serious condition

A man stabbed his wife and then tried to stab himself to death on a public street in Ashdod Sunday evening. Both are said to be in serious condition.
Magen David paramedics and police forces were called to the scene after passersby witnessed the stabbing of the woman. The woman was found conscious on the street and managed to tell paramedics that her husband tried to kill her.
The woman sustained stab wounds to her abdomen and chest and both her and her husband were evacuated to Kaplan Hospital in Rehovot.
