A Haifa man convicted of molesting his six-year-old daughter was sentenced on Monday to 15 months in prison and 15 months probation. Sentencing judges of the Haifa District Court agreed to accept a plea bargain reducing his sentence since he was intoxicated at the time of the incident, though not beyond the limit which legally affects criminal responsibility. Additionally, the judges noted that the man exhibited substantial signs of regret regarding the incident, and that following his actions, he attempted to harm himself with a knife, Army Radio reported.
