During a remand extension trial for him and his brother Wednesday, alleged mob kingpin Meir Abergil told press, "Sentence me to death already." "The law allows the State to request ten days remand, but I know they want 20," he said. At the same hearing, State Attorney's Office representative Gilad Samama said that an extradition request for the brothers, Meir and Itzik, was received from the US on Monday, but that he had not yet looked into it. "This is a special, long request that I have not yet looked over, though it seems there will be room to charge all suspects," he said.
