Meretz, Kadima discuss diplomatic, socioeconomic, law in 'positive' meeting

The meeting between Meretz and Kadima ended after more than two and a half hours at Kadima leader and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni's office in Tel Aviv on Thursday.
A Kadima spokesman said that the meeting was positive. Meretz MKs Haim Oron and Zehava Gal-On presented their demands that were to be advanced further in a continuation of talks on Saturday night.
A Meretz spokesman said that diplomatic, socioeconomic and matters of the rule of law were discussed in detail. Kadima will come back with answers by Saturday night in an effort to reach a deal.
