The Education Ministry decided on Tuesday not to impose restraining orders at this point on the secondary school teachers whose strike has cancelled classes throughout the country, Israel Radio reported. The ministry expressed hope that contacts with the Secondary School Teachers' Union, which has been protesting salary and pension arrangements, would lead to renewed negotiations that would bear fruit.
